The publication presents the embroidered ancient clothes and costumes of the Zhydachiv Oblast from the collection of the Museum of Folk Architecture and Life named after Klymentii Sheptytskyi.<br />
For the first time, the text of the expedition materials collected in Zhydachiv Oblast by Lyubov Svarnyk is published. The article provides a description of the artistic features of the clothes of this area with the terminology used at the end of the 19th century.
